Who writes our reviews

Farah Sabir, MSc Electrical Engineering. Farah Sabir holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and has years of industry experience with LED and laser hardware. She leads device analysis for the site: specification verification, optical output review, and safety-standard checks.

How we work

Every comparison is built from primary sources: peer-reviewed research (linked to PubMed or DOI records), FDA 510(k) clearance records, manufacturer-published specifications, and aggregated customer review data. We consult third-party publications during research, but our Sources sections cite the underlying studies they draw from, because that is the actual evidence. Editor scores weight optical specification, protocol burden, reliability signals, warranty terms, and price relative to the field.

We do not accept payment for placement, and no manufacturer reviews or approves our content before publication.
